Lord of Illusions -

An incomprehensible mess. The strong horrific visuals need to be bound together by more than the barest of plot threads. Too often, you are impressed (or repulsed) by what is on screen…but that quickly disperses into a continual confusion. It seems as if Clive Barker threw effects on the screen simply because they looked cool, rather than adding anything to the overall storyline.
