Jade

Joe Eszterhas has scripted yet another bland and insipid Basic Instinct clone.
David Caruso is investigating a grisly murder in San Francisco. The chief suspect
is an unknown woman named Jade, who apparently provided exotic sexual favors
for many powerful men in San Francisco. Caruso's trail leads him to suspect that
Jade is none other than Linda Fiorentino, the wife of his best friend, lawyer Chazz Palimenteri.
Nearly all the scenes in Jade seem to lack originality and any spark of life.
Plainly put, most of the film is rather bland and boring. Any scenes that attempt
to liven up the film (such as a hit-and-run that turns into a high speed car chase)
are subsequently sabotaged by the pitiful framework in which they exist.
