This third outing into the Die Hard series doesn't quite live up to the
original, but it sure does try, and surpasses its immediate predecessor in the
process. The addition of a sidekick (played wonderfully by Samuel L. Jackson)
adds a freshness that wasn't seen in the first sequel. However, there are a few
too many coincidences, and the movie is a bit too sprawling to quite live up to
the first.
