Dick

Andrew Fleming directs this comedy about a pair of high school girls (Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams) in the early 1970s who, while on a field trip to the White House, befriend the dog Checkers. They are hired as the official White House dog walkers, and become secret youth advisors to President Nixon (Dan Hedaya) during the Watergate scandal. Will Ferrell will play Bob Woodward, and Harry Shearer will play G. Gordon Liddy. Dave Foley, Ted McGinley, Ryan Reynolds, Saul Rubinek and Ana Gasteyer also star.

Capsule Review: The title about says it all. Only a few mildly amusing caricatures (particularly from Dan Hedaya) save the film from an absolute nightmare. This is one that history will very quickly forget.
