| 03/29/99 10:40 PM | The beautifully acted film, Cruel Intentions was one of the best movies I've seen this year.... A truly wicked and minipulative movie in a mature adult sort of way.... One of the Best Films For Sarah Michelle Gellar and I look forward to seeing her more in the movies! |

True about Sarah Michelle Gellar seeming to be a comical villain. True about Ryan Phillippe lacking originality. Fantastic settings. I disagree about Selma Blaire. She was extremely well cast in this film, playing the vulnerable teen extremely true-to-life. Magical chemistry between Ryan Phillippe and Reece Witherspoon. Excellent sound track. Interesting how many of the songs in this film are all composed by British artists. However, this does not surprise me in least. Joshua Jackson was fantastic. He was fun to watch. Great film. I recommend the sound track of the film to anyone who appreciates excellent modern British artists. |
